I mostly feel bad for mount collectors that feel forced to shell out money every time Blizzard drops a new mount in the shop...

- Them feeling forced is of there own doing though. Blizzard doesn't have a gun to their head. And on top of that, this was previously on the Trading Post so no doubt most collectors actively playing the game already have it.

Nobody is
forced to do anything in this game. It's not Blizzard's fault you have no impulse control.- Reply
- This literally was in the trading post though.... tell me you don't play the game and want to be mad at blizzard for no reason more please.

- Yeah, it's almost like the community (especially mount collectors) would rather them make quality mounts as in-game rewards instead of selling them.

- You mean like putting them on the trading post where you can do ingame activites and then buy it? Man that would have been cool if this mount had been on there.

- Seriously? And the imperative word is "feel".

You are forced to abide to laws and forced to a penalty if you are caught breaking them. You are forced to empty your bowels and some other body functions I suppose. But forced to collect mounts? nah.
Sure we could debate about compulsive behaviour disorder and things - but while I consider myself a mount collector (to a degree) - there would be no way I pay 25 Euro for that recolor, when I have the actual deal, with the sense of accomplishment of finishing the meta achievement for it.

I especially blame them less, if others do it first, Blizzard holds back and then sees how other companies are making money off the gulibility (sp) of ppl.Originally Posted by Chickat
I agree, but most other companies are doing it now. I cant blame them when at least half the industry does it.
Yeah sure..ppl can go ahead and give me all that "ethics and moral" stuff, but then they should seriously re-evaluate if they want to live and participate in the western lifestyle. Their clothes, iPhone, PC and much more are build on the blood and suffering of others...and they literally don't care - because they never cared to find out what makes their society function and what their (relative) weath is build on.
So...Blizzard, like any other company are allowed to be greedy assholes, but WE can chose not to support that. Stop buying the sh*t that you disagree with and if enough people think alike, they will stop selling it and maybe even some day go out of business entirely. And the world will be left with just saintly, ethically pure companies ^^

- I find it hard to take a person seriously when they feel they have to censor themselves like you do.

meanwhile, I have a question... does it only show up in a shop if you don't already have it? cause I don't see it in a shop O_O (idle curiosity since I bought it from trading post already)
